Brunch Table Hosts

A: Hostesses will be responsible for eight place settings (flatware, napkins, plates, cups), the centerpiece, and any other table décor. Table clothes can be provided and come in various colors (black, white, red, navy, purple). We will also have disposable cups for coffee, but you can provide additional cups if you want it to match your table.

We are doing an open seating arrangement this year and are encouraging women in our church to register and invite a friend to join them. You are welcome to invite particular women to join your table and reserve their seat the day of by removing the open seat sign from those places at your table. Otherwise you will get to welcome a variety of women to join you that morning.

The sky is the limit. You can use what you already have at home or put together something for a fun “themed” table. It can be anything ranging from paper products up to your dinnerware/china. Some ideas: Classic Christmas, Seasons, The Grinch, The Christmas Story, Candyland, Winter Wonderland

You can set up Wednesday, 12/4 from 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Thursday 12/5 from 10:00 am-6:00 pm, or Friday 12/6 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Feel free to contact the office if none of these times work for your schedule.

Judging will take place Saturday, December 7th (morning of the brunch) at 9:00 am (brunch starts at 9:30). The categories are: (1) most creative, (2) best overall, (3) most elegant

Guests should be added to the sign-up either through the link or on sign-up sheet in the Narthex beginning in early November. We ask that everyone that can, to bring a favorite dish to share - it can be store bought or a favorite family recipe. As well as a $10 gift if they wish to participate in the gift exchange.

We are currently recruiting hosts for our upcoming Christmas Brunch being held Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 - 11:30 am. The purpose of the breakfast is to gather with other Memorial women and women in our various spheres of life to enjoy the warmth of friendship, food and holiday cheer together. Inviting others not in our church community is an opportunity to extend the welcome of Jesus, deepen friendship through shared experiences, allow them to feel seen and enjoyed while exposing them to a larger community of believers. All seats will have a sign indicating it is available unless the sign has been removed by you the morning of the brunch in order to reserve seating for particular people you invited.
